Subject: Huge central hill

I in in the late polishing stage of a 10" f/6 project. After many hours
of polishing TOT (In an attempt to avoid TDE) I am left with a a central
hill the size of Mt. Everest.

I have been doing unmasked Foucault tests throughout the polishing and
all that TOT has
contributed to the hill. My first ( and latest) Foucault masked reading
#'s are:

Zone 1....4.41
Zone 2....4.23
Zone 3....4.16
Zone 4... 4.21

Mask has a 2" diameter closed center w/ zone 1 starting there. Rest of
mirror looks OK except I suspect a 1/16 to 1/8 TDE (revealed through
ronchi test).

The Question: Should I go with (A) MOT using a conservative 1/3 W stroke
to gradually bring Mt. Everest (central hill) down? or (B) go with more
aggressive MOT as in
long parabolizing strokes or (C) some other option?

I've gone the CeOx route and have done serious polishing for about 9
hours.

This is my second telescope. My first was a 6" f/8.

This and any other advice would be appreciated.
