ATM ultra thin optics

     I read the post about thin mirrors,( 
http//snoopy.gsfc.nasa.gov/~lunartel/lun7html) and the suggestion was 
that theese optics will eventually be avaialable to atm's. I noticed 
there was no mention of price which usually means its going to cost a 
bunch. I wonder how long it will be before  some ambitious atm'ers will 
eventually figure how to get around the cost and produce their own, and 
in the sprit of atm'ing  share that info. Soon i hope.
