Ok, that makes sense...
if the scope is 37.5 inches, it's about 119 times bigger than the
eye... so gets
about 14000 times the light.
The minimal magnification (with a 8 mm pupil) would be (37.5*2.54)/0.8
->
119x
14000 / (119*119) ~= 1
So, at best i get the same brightness as the naked eye...
Am I correct ?

I've been burried a little bit lately, so I need to find some time to

about that... but I'm going for 2 days camping in the desert in
