Hi Darryl,
I do think it is a really interesting proyect, which I would
like to perfect whenever I have time. Mine was really cheap (except
for the grating) and it gives really nice spectra. The slit that I use
is made from two razor blades which give a good result if you manage
to place them very paralel. Anyway, I would like to improve the design
of the slit by adding the posibility to be moved, so I can regulate the
width of it without needing to open the spectroscope. I haven't figured
out how to do this properly though, so any ideas will be greatly apreciated.
The box is made of plywood but it could have been made of any other
material with the same result.
