Many oil company and chemical company distributors carry drums. Also
fiberglass mfg companies have surplus drums which originally were filled with
acetone. The latter are usually good , clean drums. The problem is to find
somebody who is willing to sell you a used drum if it ever contained
hazardous material. Most users cut the heads off the drums as they empty them
to reduce explosion hazard. 

Buying a new drum is probably easier. They make excellent working stands for
up to about twenty inches. Fill it with sufficient water and rust inhibitor
to make the platform stable.
