Thats OK, so long as you switch at or before 360 grit.  At 400, even if you
cast your plaster tool to the mirror or adhere the tile on the exsisting
tool, there is a good chance that the mirror edge will be chipped by impact 
with the protruding tile edges.  I've faced the tool smooth and curved with
scrap glass to overcome this, but its extra work.
