I've found that a Home Depot in NJ did carry 1.5" square tiles, and they
worked fine. There is a semi-national chain called "Color Tile" that
carries 1" square tiles. I've found them in both NJ and Ohio. For Sonotube,
forget the hardware store. Look in the yellow pages under "concrete
supplies"

I've used 4" PVC pipe for a 6" f/6 scope's altitude bearings and it worked
fine. Home depot had that too.
