What about this Newport Glass mob ? As far as I could remember, they have 8.25, 10.25 and 12.25 inch BK-7 plates quite cheaply (something like 30 bucks or thereabouts for 8-1/4).Even cheaper for water-white plate glass. At these price you can afford to play quite a bit ! On the other hand, I've heard that they are quite difficult to deal with...
