I am ready to start building a mirror cell for a 30" mirror. Encouraged by Mels Bartels' experiences, I am going to try an 18 point suspension. Does anyone have an opinion about the dimensions for pad placement? I plan to use the standard arrangement of 3 pads each on 6 triangles. Should the triangles be equilateral? The 18 point pattern basically breaks down to an outer circle of 12 pads and an inner circle of 6 pads. What would be good radii to select for the two circles?
