Re: [ATM] Mirror-grinding 10"
Hi Thomas
I first reply you now, because I'm just returned from 5 days of holliday.
My blog/website is a documentation-tool and I prefer to call it a
webdoc. The aim is to:
- present my project for other ATM's and get their responds and
experince. I use four maillist (ATM-list, http://www.starastronomy.org/,
http://www.2astro.dk/forum/ and astrolist.dk).
- registrate facts and make documentation, then I better can remember
next time how to make a mirror.
- present, make inspiration and give my experience of mirror-grinding to
other ATM's.
I write in english, not because my english is very well, but I think
most ATM's better understand my poor english than my danish ;-)
I have decided to repeat fine-grinding from carbo320 and then also I'm
reading about the different kind of errors and how to handle them.
Spherical aberration, coma, astigmation, distortion, turned-down edge
and how they are defined, how to test for them and how to manage those
kind of errors or aberration. I will make a message on my webdoc later
about error-handling.
I live 200 km. from Grenaa on the island Fyn - my coordinates is:
55:22:32N 10:10:10E.
Best regards
Klaus E. from Denmark
