Pour like any other lap.  Just move the mirror on top around every few
seconds as you press the lap into contact.

I don't see why oversized laps are considered so different?

I'm still confused here cause you mirror would then be encased in pitch. I
pour with the mirror on the bottom, and pitch outside the mirrors edge would
just run off into oblivion, I take it we pour in different manners.
