Re: [ATM] TOT vs MOT



Because nothing is supporting the upper edge of the
thing on top when it is pushed over the side of the
thing on the bottom.  That means the force where the
two objects contact one another is greatest at the
edge of the lower object when the upper item is
offset.  At the same time then the force on the upper
object is greatest more in the center than the edge.

Surface wear is proportional to force between the two
object.
