Re: [ATM] Polishing question

Both. The heaviness is normal for a micro-faceted lap and the pitch is
probably somewhat soft at 80 degreees. You can probably do well polishing at
80 degrees, but if the temperature doesn't go down it probably will not do
so well figuring.

I have a question in regards to polishing on my 6F6 Mirror.

Gugolz 64.
ambient temperature of ~80F

also pressed with a some tulle for micro faceting.

I did some polish strokes and found the process to be what I would
describe as "heavy".

I would say the heaviness was uniform regardless of offset or rotation.

Does this "heaviness" to the process sound correct? Or is it possible
the pitch is too soft?

Thanks guys,
