[ATM] My spheres of infinite radius

I spent the better part of the post Yankee afternoon (12 - 0 over the Los Angeles Angels) working on my continuing saga of the six flat surfaces. Today I completed my 500 Silicon Oxide. I had worked the first three surfaces on Thursday. Today, I turned the glass over and worked what have affectionately becomne known as surfaces D, E and F. Once complete, I took out my American Optical Company light and looked closely at the surfaces through a magnifying glass. Two small but deep scratches, everything else looks pretty good.

I have lots of hard work to do this week, including continuing my studies, hopefully, next weekend, perhaps Saturday afternoon, I can resume fine grinding with 22.5 micron.
