Any chance of adding list membership to that graph?  Then it could 
normalized into units of postings per member or something similar. 
That would tell us if the trends are related to list membership 
growing or shrinking.

I suspect the new posting decline may be due partly to the 
introduction of other forums (Yahoo groups) that are a bit more 
specialized than the broad ATM list.

Also, as the list archives grow, many questions have been answered 
many times over, and I cling to the hope that more and more people are 
actually searching the archives rather than just posting the same 
questions.  :)
