And for god's sake; stay away from using the parallel port. What a stupid way to
drive a motor. The preceding was my own severely biased opinion; I prefer the
use of controller cards that plug into the PC and handle all the real-time stuff
require for proper motion control.

Guys,

I need to find plug & play XP USB stepper controllers for up
to four size 23 motors..I'm not good at electronics and hopefully
the controller will only need to be wired to the motor and come
with s/w to set the step rate, number of steps, and direction
using the PC display. This is for a remotely Web controlled 37" scope.
I don't need anything fancy or *expensive*, it's just for
moving filter wheels, indexing mirrors, focusers etc.
