Re: [ATM] webcam and Foucault test?
Hello,
I purchased a coated 12.5mm diameter x 20mm f.l. achromat from Surplus
Shed. Disassembled the original lens and used a blackened piece of 0.5"
OD copper for an "extender" (I don't recall the length, but the AOL
would equal 0.78" minus focus "play"). Time has to been spent making
everything "square" with the CCD.
Here are some factory made:

Which brand lens, where did you get it?
I purchased a 16mm lens, but cannot get it to focus when screwed in the
ToCam 840 threading. Image plane is to far behind the final lens when
the
object is on 3m (10') or so.
