I did make a moisture trap or condenser at the output of the air compressor
using 40 ft of ½" copper tubing and elbows. The condenser consists of many
1-1/2 ft segments that which serpentine with air input at the bottom and
outlet at the top. Each segment has a slight tilt so that moisture will
condensate and flow to the bottom where there is a ball valve for draining.
I plumbed my entire shop with several quick disconnect outlets, differential
pressure regulators and 5-micron filter with additional moisture traps. See:

have had no moisture or "ice ball" problems with my setup.
