[ATM] How round and how square should it be (blank)

            Thomas thanks, I talked to some of the guys at the laas.org
club and they told me the same, and told me of a trick that while not
as good as the polarizing films, it's pretty good one.  it's basicaly
taking the piece and rotating it at a angle in the sun against a white
piece of paper and look for any darkness or diformities of any kind, it
seemed to be ok.


       I also tested the focal length on the mirror I started rough
grindind on this afternoon, so far I see a 6" diameter disc on my house
wall from a distance of about 15 feet .

      this "stuff" is just too much fun for me! I left all my feeler
gauges at work (on vacation)  and tried using a dial indicator, but I
could not attach it to a flat stock, so I will have to go and get
something to do that next, from what I saw I have about 9 thousands
(but this was hand held and VERY unreliable)

     My math is not so good, so being warned, it looks to me by the
distance and the 6" pattern on the wall  like I might be closer to 4 or
5 thousands
