Interesting. I have thought for some time now to put fluorophore over
a CCD chip to visualize UV. The relative emission peaks would correspond
to UV excitation peaks. I then drifted hopelessly into quantum dots,
which are very precise, but I still have not found a good way to fit
them onto a CCD. Maybe the thing you are refering to is some kind of
plastic with an embedded fluorophore (also quite nice)?
