Bororfloat-33 is Schott's sheet "Pyrex" glass, COE is 33X10^-7, so about
that of most high end borosilicate low expansion glasses. 

The price quoted sounds about right, I was quoted $1400 plus taxes and
import duty, delivery and crating just two months back for a similar
sized piece here in Australia, but I would have to buy 5 sheets, as that
was their minimum import order size, and wait four months for it to get
here.....

That sounds like about 4 times what it should be.   I assume that
borofloat 33 is typical plate glass.
