Pretty much true, but for the following points:

1. a TriDob has a bigger base ring and thus can take more virtual spring 
counterweighting to make altitude bearing size smaller

2. the bearings in a TriDob foldup for easier transport, making a larger 
aperture scope feel like a smaller scope
