Re: [ATM] which Collimination tools?

John,

Before you buy, maybe you'd consider making the tools yourself. A cheshire and a sight tube are very easy to make and making a lasercollimator out of a laserpointer isn't that difficult. A cheshire and a sighttube can be made for a couple of dollars and the price af a selfmade lasercollimator is only a couple of dollars more then the cost of the laserpointer.

Personally, I don't think collimation tools are optional, especially not for fast telescope. When I collimate my scope (20 inch f/5) without any tools and check the collimation, collimation is never up to my standards en most of the time not within important tolerance levels. And with the right tols and some practice it doesn't take longer then just eyeballing.
