Concentric, yes, not only for driving, but for other use as well.  Same
radius?  No reason that needs to be true.

Just off the top of my head, the tolerances on concentricity may not be
that tight.  I may well be wrong here, but I think the main effect would
be a sort of wedging that would push the scope up and down as it
rotates.  Probably doesn't cause much angular error.

Anybody else have a clearer thought on this?
