Kind of hard to do on a 6 inch mirror, but try and keep the weight in 
the center.  If you are walking the barrel, change position with every 
stroke and push with the palm of your hand at the center of the lap away 
from you.  It is easier to do than pulling it.  You may end up with a 
few more miles walked, but it should help with the edge.
