[ATM] Tester question.

Hi All !,
 
Well, I'm finally going to be able to finish my new Focault tester today,
hopefully, if all goes well, "knock-on-wood".
 
Q: In this new design I'm wonderring if I placed my knife-edge arrangement
    this way;
                      "two-knife edges opposite each-other, as in a regular
                       slit-type config,,,but with the blad es arranged in a way
                       so that one-blade is about 1-inch Lower than the other,
                       in a moving-sourse arrangement.
                       my reasoning is that with this setup, I can have a 
                       moving-source type tester with the advantages of the
                       slit tester,,,,and slitless,,,combined !!  so as to avoid
                       the "light rays from the other zones, not being tested,
                       from leaking light passed the edge."
 
Any comments ??   Please!!
