Wouldn't work with the plastic coated vinyl cable unless
the plastic is stripped off the cable first. I load tested
the setscrew attach method by clamping the threaded rod
vertically in a big vise, then applied 280 lbs force to
the cable (my weight :( - didn't pull out :) I'd sure
want do this test with epoxy attach method as well!
Sanity backup edge stops ape probably a good idea for
any mirror support scheme.
