RE: [ATM] dob balance



Lance,
  Here is a web page that I put together concerning the balancing of a truss 
dob, and the placement of the bearings on a scope.  This is specific to my 
scope DS-3.  Maybe it will help.  It is a bit out of date, and doesn't cover 
calculating the distance between the teflon pads, but it is still a start.  
It also explains how to keep from adding aditional weight to the mirror box.
