I have an integral gimbal design for my compliant focuser that uses does not
use a piezo actuators, but by direct flexure modulation (proprietary) to
combine both a small level of tilt-tip and long travel high precision
focusing. The tip-tilt capability is achieved without additional components
(external actuators) or other mechanisms (stages).
