[ATM] NASA looking for help with glass

TECH NEED OF THE WEEK:

A device is needed that will allow for the reliable identification of the raw materials used in the manufacture of glass.

The device needs to identify a limited number of raw materials, prior to mixing. The minerals are in a powdered/granular form, and 
include Silicon
Oxide (Sand), Sodium Carbonate (Soda Ash), Calcium Carbonate (Limestone), Magnesium Oxide (Dolomite), and Sodium Sulphate 
(Saltcake).

Ideally, the device needs to be portable and capable of being operated by a non-specialist. It also should be an Online device possibly 
mounted over a conveyor carrying the raw material. Bench-top laboratory equipment is not suitable for this application.
