Maybe if you had the hard bits, the easier part would be doable?
The hard bit is the flange the lens locks into... this might be a
standard repair part, or salvageable from an otherwise wrecked
camera. (Scrounge from a camera repair shop.)  Or perhaps you could
use an extension (close-focus) tube as the flange?
