[ATM] ATM Software?

Hi all. Since I decided to rebuild my 8" scope I wanted to keep track of
the amount of time i put in it along with keeping notes on the
construction. I should also mention that this is more of a prototype for
a larger scope in the future. Anyway not being happy with simply using a
spreadsheet and/or word processor I decied to write my own app special
for telesope making. In which there would be logging features with times
and notes, cost tracking, basic formulas for construction, and possibly
a way to automate tests, save and analyze the data. My questions for you
are:
1. Would this be something that would be useful to you/community?
2. What features would you say would be essential?
3. What would be some non essenial features?
4. Would you be willing to pay for the software? If so how much?
5. While the source code will be released with the software, is it
important to you under a specific license? which one?
