[ATM] Re: Help with Richfield mirror

Hi all,

I have been working on a 6" richfield mirror with a ROC of 44.65".

I know this is a tough parabola to hit and but I feel like I am getting into the ball park.
Edge seems good and overall surface seems smooth.

I use TEX program and I think that the middle zones are too high but I am not quite sure. I have done several easier mirrors and have done fairly well. I am having trouble understanding what the problem with this mirror is.

If anyone can help me I would sure appreciate it! The data is below

I am using a 6 zone Couder mask with the mask openings at

Zone 1 Inside radius =
Zone 1 Outside radius=1.156
Zone 2 Outside r = 1.719
Zone 3 Outside r=2.125
Zone 4 Outside r = 2.531
Zone 5 Outside r = 2.875
Zone 6 Outside r = 3

My zone readings are:
Test I                Test 2
1=.3555           .3575
2=.402             .3965
3=.4215           .42075
4=.4255           .43050
5=.45075         .4495
6=.452              .450
