Can anyone advise if porthole glass (from a ship) would be suitable for a mirror?  The 
size is approx 13"dia x 1"thick.  I know it's a little thinner than ideal, but hopefully a 
decent cell will take care of that, but what about working the glass, would porthole be 
any good for making a mirror out of?  Does anyone know if it would be the same as 
plate glass?
