I drew up the parts layouts in Plop and added a couple new parts 
layouts.  As for that, 12f has the same points layout and performance as 
12h, and I would recommend using it instead as it uses only bars but 
give the same support.  Even easier to construct and balance.

Yes.  The more parts you put in the smaller they get, making 
construction errors more likely and more critical.  Also there is more 
opportunity for misaligning the parts and mirror.  Furthermore, jumping 
past 27 points requires another level and more potential for 
misalignment, stiction, etc.

Occam's razor applies to mechanics as well as reasoning: as much as 
required and no more.
