Re: ATM quotes from Annals of Science, circa 1853

Fascinating, and thanks, Mel. I'm interested in the several days
approach.

This brings to mind something from the days when I was actively working
in a darkroom. There were times when I purposely made a highly silver
saturated fixer solution. this was done with way outdated paper and
film. The solutions would sometimes plate out silver on their container.
I thought about trying this on a mirror, but never did.
