Thanks for you observation that spherical on a secondary shows up as
astigmatism at the eyepiece, due the 45% surface angle.  That is very useful
basic information and explains puzzling effects I have seen through certain
scopes. The sqrt(2.0) "balance" between primary and secondary quality seems
quite logical.

BTW, that's a very impressive control system!
