Due to one of the grinders dropping his mirror in the class, I now have an
8" piece of glass with a fair sized ding out of it.  The ding is about 3" on
the side the guy was grinding on and about 1/2" on the backside.  I now show
it to every new grinder and note to them that the ding came from dropping
the glass 1" to the tool.  I haven't had too much dinging since then
although there are some that have tried.  A reshowing of the glass and a
gentle remonstration tend to keep the clinking down.
