If I may go on a tangent here, most of the modern APOs I've heard about
utilize some sort of this Fluorocrown glass.  I've heard, though, that it is
quite prone to negative temperature changes.  If this is the case, does
it cause problems to bond it with blocking pitch... eventually you have to
remove the heat source to perform the bonding operation?
