What do you mean by "halow"?  If you mean unpolished, try MOT to work the
edge.  If that doesn't work, how long were your strokes?  1/3 diameter,
means 1/6 overhang per side.  If you over hung by 1/3, your edge is so
badly turned it will never polish.  Been there, done that.  I try and
bring it up on the list now and again because it seems to happen way to
often.
