Im thinking about makeing a larger scope. I want it primarily for
planetary observing I have seen posts expressing slow f ratios for
planetary work. Since tube length could get long at f/8 in mirrors of 12
to 20" can a faster ratio equal a slow one for planetary work if the
mirror is figured correctly?
Is there one ideal f ratio for planetary work no matter the mirror size?
