Although I personally don't have a problem with you using the ATM mailing
list to talk about the ATMA, I've been looking into the mailing list biz
myself (for another, very unrelated topic).

There are some webservers that do mailing lists for you.  Try going to:

http://www.listbot.com/

They apparently do the "hard parts" in setting up a mailing list in
exchange for some sort of ads in the mail.  I don't know the details, yet,
because my ISP is having some phone line problems, and I can't download
even a 640x480 picture without a phone disconnect.  So I haven't been able
to read all the details.
