The 40 TM Articles

A number of you have already contacted me to offer your suggestions on how I
should come up with the 40 articles from TM that we propose to reprint. Some
have even gone so far as to type up and submit exactly which 40 they would
like to see.

This is not exactly what I had in mind; I still keep hoping to share the load.
During each flare-up of the "reprints" issue, certain individuals have come
forth to offer their services in trying to bring it to pass. With the door now
opened, I would like to see that energy placed in choosing the aforementioned
articles. I feel it is reasonable to ask for those individuals who have felt
so strongly about the acquisition to talk among themselves to come up with a
vehicle by which those articles are to be chosen AND PRIORITIZED. I have a
couple of ideas to help orchestrate this. Still, I would prefer to leave the
selection with the group and have THEM select a spokesman to finalize the list
and communicate with Barlow or myself.

I will say that I feel it much more logical to select a dozen "hot" articles
to start with. A lot can happen in 10 years, and a dozen articles would give a
generous 3 years worth of material with which to work.

Again, I would hope to have the list of articles on hand by March 1.
