ATM Casting Aluminum

My good friend Preston (not yet an ATMer, but getting close) is nearing
completion on a huge off axis guider assembly for my Slevogt camera.  It is a
thing of beauty, turned on his lathe from 6" Aluminum round stock.  In the
process of turning and milling this beast, he generated four garbage bags full
of Aluminum chips.  In a recent telephone conversation, he remarked in passing
that he would like a book on casting Aluminum (I wonder why?).  Can someone on
this list advise me on a good book or two on casting Aluminum and on general
foundry practices?  I would love to surprise Preston with a couple of nice
books.
