Re: ATM - Solid Copper Washers

My experience with copper is that it is a soft, gummy metal, and best left in
the electrical and thermal conductivity uses for metals. Brass, on the other
hand, is still quite soft, but has a less gummy feel to it than copper. It
also forms smaller grains, and lends itself to grinding better than copper in
that the grinding doesn't tear off large chunks of metal, but a small flaky
dust the size of the abrasive.
