Tex said no distortion, but then took several pages to show
how to make one.  They have to be as optically flat and parallel
as the mirror.  And once there is temperature equilibirum outside
the scope the advantage of a closed scope is lost.

IMHO it isn't a project for a first scope...but curved spiders are and
Howard does a good job on those (it's all in the archives)
