Re: ATM Fine grinding was too dry

FWIW,
I've been experimenting lately with using glycerine (instead of water)
mixing it into a slurry with the abrasive and spreading it onto the mirror
with a brush. This combo seemed to make wets last longer, evenly distributed
on the mirror. I found very little scratch occuring on the finer grits, too,
as glycerine is slippery stuff (no dish soap needed) and the slurry seems of
consistent thickness (barring stray contaminents).

P.S. If there is "room available" near the center of the glass for abrasive
to congregate, can we be sure that there is even contact over the entire
face of the glass?
