ATM How it all started
Dear all!
I have bothered you for more than a year with thosands of questions
about Amateur Telescope Making. Today, I know those questions I asked
you weren't for nothing, since I have a finished telescope in my house
(actuallty, close but no ciger, yet...).
I don't think I have ever told you folks how I got interested in ATM
in the first place.
Well... Since I was interested in Astronomy, I got to know a man who
owned a 10" LX200 SCT of Meade. I'd oftenly go visit him, and we'd
watch messier objects and stuff. He taught me the names of the stars
& constellations (just point at a bright star, and I'll probably know
it's name).
Now this person really knew I wanted to have my own telescope. Well,
he was kind to me and printed out a WHOLE website about ATM from the
internet. The website is made by someone german I think, and is
something about the "Newtonian pages" or something similar. Whatever.
I read This 'booklet', and since then I was hooked. I didn't believe I
would actually SUCCEED to build my own scope, but I did. I didn't
understand anything in that booklet, but it had a purpose. This man I
told you about got me to know that ATM exists, the booklet he printed
got me interested in ATM, and YOU folks, did the finnal job- helped me
do my scope.
So I thank you all, again, again, again, again, and another again.
THANKS!!
Well, that's enough for now.
Thanks (again ;-D ), Asaf.
