Observing my machine at work I noticed this effect. I was woried
about consequences. When plater goes up with a blank on it
there is increased presure between arm and blank due to inertia
of arm and tool. Oposite is the case when plater goes down.
This will introduce very regular action and this counters
premise of randomness in operation of machine.
The effect will depend on turntable speed and the mass of components.

Vladimir.
