[ATM] Grinding Machine for mirrors

To all on the list, I have been fabricating a Mirror grinding machine.. My turntable is 22 inch diameter.. The shaft supporting this is 1" tempered steel. This support seems to be sufficient and does not flex with my wieght on the perimeter for testing.
     Now my question... On the outside diameter of the turntable, while rotating, I have a 1/32" up and down "float"... Is this a big problem???  Or do I need to get closer??
